Originally built in the 1760s, last year Woodward Farm House was completely refurbished keeping the character & charm of the building, but updating the plumbing, electrics and data. There are new spacious bedrooms each with en-suite bath or shower room, and a cosy breakfast-room/sitting room for guests to relax and unwind after a wonderful day out.
Situated in the quiet medieval village of Appleton le Moors, a gateway to the North York Moors, Woodward Farm House looks south west towards the Howardian Hills, an AONB, and offers a haven of comfort & luxury in the most picturesque of settings. In the heart of Ryedale, and surrounded by the Moors to the North, Whitby & the Coast to the East, the Wolds to the South East, and the Dales to the West, it is the perfect location to explore its endless wonders. Whether on foot, bike, horseback or motor.
Bookings are available for a minimum of two nights, and includes a delicious breakfast to set you up for the day. There is unlimited wifi, and I welcome most dogs by prior arrangement.
